The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa does not have a receptionist.  Our hours are by appointment only.  To book an appointment online, click the "Book an Appointment" button near the bottom of the page.  Each member of our staff sets their own schedule and offer appointments throughout the week.  If you are trying to schedule an appointment and are having difficulty, please call or email the spa.  If you are planning on stopping by the spa and don't have an appointment, please call before arriving to ensure someone will be there to help you.  We appreciate your understanding with our method of scheduling.

Trouble booking online?
If you are experiencing trouble with our "Book an Appointment" button near the bottom of this page, please contact the spa. We are unaware of what causes issues with the function of this button - our best guess is the internet browser you are using. Our booking service, Booker, prefers Firefox or Chrome and does not respond well to Internet Explorer or Safari.

Join a Class

Use the "Book an Appointment" button to reserve your spot in a class we are offering.  Once you click the "Book an Appointment" button, click on the tab "Class Schedule" and scroll through the calendar to find the class you are looking for.  If the class is filled, you will not be able to join it.  If you have any questions, please call the spa.
 

Scheduling Couples Services
Couples appointments can be scheduled for most of our services.  You can mix and match - two massages, a massage and a facial, two pedicures, etc.  When scheduling online, simply choose the correct number of guests and select your services.  If you need assistance, please call the spa.

Children / Minors

Children: Due to the relaxing nature of the spa experience, we respectfully request children be brought to the spa only when the child is receiving a service.

Minors: In an effort to uphold compliance with PA MT state regulations, in accordance with §20.42 standards of professional conduct, (a) A massage therapist shall; (21) obtain the written permission of a parent or guardian, or their representative, prior to providing massage therapy services to a minor. (22) Require that a parent or guardian, or their representative, be physically present in the room during treatment of a minor. 

 

Group Scheduing
If you wish to schedule a group of guests for services (five or more people), please call the spa as soon as possible to ensure availability.  We always do our best to accommodate our guests, but advance notice really helps.  A 50% deposit for all chosen services is required to schedule groups of 4 or more.  For groups of 5 or more, a 20% gratuity is added to the service total.  


Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason without contacting the spa will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full service amount for their missed appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

 

Sunday Availability
Since everyone on staff is an independent contractor, each of our staff members is in control of their own schedule.  This means some staff members may be available on Sundays (but not all).  Some of us are already working Monday through Saturday (and from 9 am until 8 pm).  It's nice to take at least one day off and enjoy time with family and friends.
 

Gift Certificates

Purchase a gift certificate or a series of massages (or yoga classes!) by clicking the "Book an Appointment" button near the bottom of this page.  The button takes you to our online booking service and online shop.  Press the tab that reads "Shop Online" to purchase your gift. You will be able to design the certificate, customize the gift, and then send it off to the recipient in an email or print and hand deliver the gift certificate.  Giving a gift has never been more relaxing!

Gift certificates are also available for purchase at the spa.  Please call in advance to ensure someone will be there to assist you.

Gift Certificate Policies
Gift certificates can be used for any service of equal value or can be upgraded (just pay the difference).

If you do not use the full value of your gift certificate, a balance will be carried.  No refunds will be made.

The balance cannot be used as a tip.

The value of a session (not length of time) is used to determine a remaining balance on a gift certificate.

Loyalty Rewards Program

As a thank you for your continued loyalty, The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa is introducing our Rewards and Loyalty Program.  Clients will accumulate points for various transactions, such as booking online and referring a new client. 

What are points?
The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa points were created to thank you for being a loyal client.  Points are rewarded each time you receive a service/package, purchase a series, purchase a gift certificate, refer a new client, and more!  The program is free and everyone is enrolled automatically.  There is no card to carry or present at the spa.  It's that simple!

How do I accumulate points?
Points are managed through our Spa-Booker system.  Below is a list of ways points can be accumulated and their assigned value:

  • Refer 1 new client=  100 points
  • Purchase a gift certificate/  $1 = 1 point
  • Purchase any service (including a package/series)  /  $1 = 1 point
  • Purchase retail items/  $1 = 1 point

Note:  Gift Certificate applies to purchase of a gift certificate, not redemption of a gift certificate.  Loyalty points earned exclude tax and service charges (if applicable).

How much are points worth?
1,000 points = $10

How many points do I have?
Every client with an online account / customer login can view their points balance in the My Account tab.

How can I redeem my points?
Points can be redeemed for services after you've accumulated at least 1,000 points.  Points cannot be redeemed as part of a tip.

Are my points redeemable for cash?
Points are NOT redeemable for cash.

Are points transferrable?
No.  Points can only be redeemed by the person who earned them.

Do points expire?
No.

Spa Fundraisers


Looking for a new, exciting fundraiser for your group?  Why not make it a Spa Fundraiser?  We are happy to work with your group and donate 10% of the services they receive at the spa to your cause.  We can also do a gift certificate fundraiser.

We can work with you and your group to make raising funds relaxing.  You can choose the services you want or have them choose from our menu.  You can select the dates you want to run the fundraiser and we'll track the spa guests and do the math.  It's that easy!

Bodywork Questions

Where will my massage or bodywork session take place? 
Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.

Must I be completely undressed? 
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, it is entirely up to you what you want to wear. You should undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped during the entire session.

Will the practitioner be present when I disrobe? 
The practitioner will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the table, and cover yourself with a clean sheet or towel.

Will I be covered during the session? 
You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. 

What parts of my body will be massaged? 
A typical full-body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders. 

What will the massage or bodywork feel like?
A relaxing Swedish massage is often a baseline for clients. In a general Swedish massage, your session may start with broad, flowing strokes that will help calm your nervous system and relax exterior muscle tension. As your body becomes relaxed, pressure will gradually be increased to relax specific areas and relieve areas of muscular tension. Often, a light oil or lotion is used to allow your muscles to be massaged without causing excessive friction to the skin. The oil also helps hydrate your skin. You should communicate immediately if you feel any discomfort so that another approach may be taken. Massage and bodywork are most effective when your body is not resisting.

Are there different kinds of massage and bodywork? 
There are numerous types of massage and bodywork; various techniques utilize different strokes, including basic rubbing strokes, rocking movement, posture and movement re-education, application of pressure to specific points, and more. We can discuss which methods may be most appropriate for you. 

What should I do during the massage or bodywork session?
Prior to the massage, feel free to ask the practitioner any questions about the technique or the upcoming session. During the massage, make yourself comfortable. The practitioner will either gently move you or tell you what is needed throughout the session (such as lifting your arm). Many people just close their eyes and completely relax, communicating if/when they need more or less pressure, another blanket, or anything else relevant to the session. If you have any questions regarding the session or about the particular technique you are receiving, feel free to ask. 

How will I feel after the massage or bodywork session? 
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days. Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended you drink plenty of water following your massage.

What are the benefits of massage and bodywork? 
Massage and bodywork can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture, and reduce blood pressure. Massage and bodywork is also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety and create an overall sense of well-being. 

Are there any medical conditions that would make massage or bodywork inadvisable? 
Yes. That's why it's imperative that, before you begin your session, the practitioner asks general health questions. It is very important that you inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation for massage or bodywork prior to any session. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.
